Family Friendly Phuket

Phuket is bursting with family friendly adventures to embark on, so we have scouted the island to put together our favourite collection of experiences the whole family can enjoy.

Andamanda Phuket

Having recently opened (May 2022) this is Phuket’s newest and largest leisure and entertainment destination. Welcome to an immense water playground, which promises to take families on a voyage of the Andaman’s spectacular treasures. Where legend meets imagination inspired by Thai culture and tradition, Andamanda takes you on a treasure hunt and maritime adventure that delves into Thai mythology. With numerous water rides and slides to enjoy including the ‘Angel’s Slides’, which are said to deliver the first duelling ‘Master Blaster’ up and down thrills in Thailand.

The Lazy Coconut

The Lazy Coconut offers a relaxed, tropical beach vibe that the whole family can appreciate. Feast your eyes on the abundance of stunning settings and photo opportunities, from rustic beach swing and infinity pool to oversized daybeds cocooned with foliage and The Lazy Camp tents to name just a few picturesque spots. The beach bar, restaurant and camp are located on Bangtao Beach just steps from the glistening turquoise sea. A perfect laid-back setting to spend the whole day and sunset hours, complemented by family friendly food served directly on the beach or dining decking.

Hanuman World Phuket

Get your adrenaline pumping at the biggest rainforest zipline park in Thailand. The whole family can get involved with everything from beginners to extreme zipline adventurers and rainforest sky walks on offer. If you are feeling adventurous, give the 800 meter long ‘Roller Zipline’ a try and swirl around twists and turns in the heart of the rainforest with an impressive bird’s-eye view. The Rainforest Sky Walk boasts suspended bridges allowing children of all ages to safely move above the treetops for an exhilarating as well as educational adventure.

The Selfie Experience

This is a brand-new and novel indoor picture playground in Phuket, encompassing a huge area of 3,000m2 with over 40 different themes and backdrops to play with. Popular with families, and of course as the name suggests, selfie lovers, this is a great option to spend a few hours getting some unique family photos and creating fun memories with your loved ones. Whether you’re in the mood for a rainbow ball pit, teddy bear mountain or even a bright yellow room with Victorian bath that you can literally jump in, there are colourful options to spark everyone’s imagination.

Blue Tree

Blue Tree Phuket is a unique entertainment venue which is entirely centred around family friendly activities. The 17,000m2 lagoon pool features pursuits which should keep all ages entertained such as Super Fly slides, zip lines, cliff jumping and paddleboards. Once you have had your fill in the warm water, head outside to their Lifestyle Village and Nature Trails which boast options including a skateboard park, outdoor nature bike trails and indoor children’s playcentres. With an appetite firmly worked up, take your family to one of the many restaurants and food trucks on site.

Aquaria Phuket

Located in the heart of Phuket, inside Central Phuket Floresta, Aquaria is the largest aquarium in Thailand. This is a great rainy-day option, providing a family friendly underwater journey through the ocean and its mysteries, housing more than 25,000 marine critters including otters, reptiles, penguins, rays, turtles, sharks and jellyfish. It provides a fun, interactive and educational experience for all ages and has the added bonus of daily feeding times when the professional aquarists hand feed marine animals whilst talking about the significant roles they play in their natural habitats.

Family time is sacred, so plan special moments to create memories that will last a lifetime.
